I live with my mother, my mother and father stay in the village and could not afford to pay for my school fees and therefore my mother sent me to her sister and also is a single parent and has her own 4 children to pay school fees therefore she is struggling to pay my school fees too.

With little words the reason for becoming a doctor, I want to save people’s lives because we are all brothers and sisters. When I hear stories of fellow adolescents losing life due to teenage pregnancy I feel bad. I know I make a good doctor.

My dad passed away when I was young and I don’t remember seeing him. It was my paternal uncle who used to support my education but since COVID-19 set in he stopped when he lost his job. I live with my mum and 5 siblings and she has no job.
